Registration Questions

Is the Collective 2020 Annual Conference cancelled?


No! Due to thoughtful caution associated with the novel coronavirus COVID-19, we have postponed the conference. The new dates are November 2-4, 2020, still at the Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch, a Hyatt property.




Will my registration transfer to the new 2020 dates?


Yes! Your conference registration will automatically transfer to the new 2020 dates. There is nothing you need to do. But we do accept encouraging emails letting us know of your excitement. :-)




Are you accepting new registrations and previously cancelled registrations for those who can now attend?


YES! We have room for both current and new registrations. We welcome more colleagues.




What if I have something preventing me from attending on the new November 2020 dates?


To help us with the challenges of this unique situation we ask that you first consider transferring your registration to another staff member on your campus. There is no charge to do so. As a second option, you may transfer some of your registration costs to another Collective event for which you have NOT already registered (Ex. ASPIRE, MASTERMIND, KICKSTART, ORG MEMBERSHIP, etc.). If you are in a truly unique situation where you need a refund, please see our refund and credit policy with specific dates related to credits and refund amounts. For any of these change situations, please contact us at events@careerleadershipcollective.com.




I’m a sponsor - will my sponsorship automatically be moved to the rescheduled November dates?


‍YES! Your sponsorship will automatically be moved to the new November dates.




Are you accepting new sponsors and exhibitors?


‍YES! We do have more exhibit hall room and some sponsor opportunities. Please visit our sponsor page or contact John Durkin at john@careerleadershipcollective.com





Hotel / Travel Questions

How do I make a new reservation at the conference hotel?


We recommend making your reservations soon to get the conference rate reserve at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch, a Hyatt Property.




Do I need to cancel my current hotel room reservation from April?


Maybe! If you mentioned the Career Leadership Collective when making your reservation, the resort is cancelling your hotel room and you should soon receive an email from them stating this fact. If you do not get an email from the resort, we recommend that you call them to make certain your reservation is cancelled to avoid any cancellation penalties. 1-800-540-0727. If you booked through the Collective room rate and had extra personal vacation days booked, and you wish to keep them, please call Melissa at 480-596-7502 or melissa.madrid@destinationhotels.com. They will honor that same rate.




Do you have any advice about my airfare?


Contact your airline. Many airlines are waiving the change fee for flights.
