John Durkin
SENIOR MANAGER OF UNIVERSITY PARTNERSHIPS
John Durkin brings two decades of professional experience in Higher Education having served in executive leadership roles in Academic Affairs, Advancement, Career Services, Corporate Relations, and Residence Life.
Prior to joining the Collective, John served as the Executive Director of Development and Alumni relations for the College of Business at Colorado State University, where he led the College’s record setting efforts toward CSU’s Billion Dollar State Your Purpose campaign. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Education from Lehigh University, and a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University, where he was honored as the top MBA graduate with the LEAD award for Leadership Excellence and Academic Distinction. At his heart, John is a student focused, higher education strategist and systems thinker, who is passionate about identifying and creating win-win partnerships.
John resides with his family in Fort Collins and is an avid road cyclist and fisherman.
