Tyler Serritt

Data Specialist

Tyler brings over a decade of experience gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data across education, journalism, and communications. Before joining the Data Team at The Career Leadership Collective, Tyler most recently served as an educator and English Language Learner (ELL) program coordinator at Pima Rose Academy in southern Arizona. During his tenure there, Tyler recorded and utilized student data to establish an innovative and inclusive learning environment while developing individual academic progress plans to boost student success on the path to graduation. Tyler, who has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia, has also logged many years as a reporter and editor for various news outlets, as well as contributed to the growth of the educational resources department of USA Baseball.

Tyler is driven by the insights that higher education data can provide and aims to assist the Collective in sharing those insights through reports and dashboards to create effective and equitable learning experiences for students nationwide.

Outside the statistics and spreadsheets, Tyler prefers to spend his time hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, or backpacking amongst the Blue Ridge Mountains. He also enjoys traveling abroad, immersing himself in different cultures, and trying his hand at new outdoor and sports experiences. Tyler currently resides in Asheville, NC, with his fiance and their St. Bernard Bernie.
