The MASTERMIND Journey
GO BEYOND THE BASICS!
Mastermind groups are common across many industries, and leverage the power of facilitated questions, micro-training, and small group dialogue to gain an advanced leadership skillset and mindset that helps navigate complex issues. This is Career Services MASTERMIND!
INTERACTIONS

Amazing Mountain Retreat plus multiple online events included over the course of the year.

MASTERMIND is not a conference, it's a one-year leadership development experience.

Only 30 Participants may register for MASTERMIND per year; Mastermind is for those who are the leaders of the career center. Any non-top level leaders: Associate Directors, Assistant Director, Coaches and others may attend our ASPIRE Program, geared for those who would like to someday be in the Top Level leader seat.

Participants are placed into a community group (C-Group) with 10 or less colleagues for the duration of the journey.

Participants will interact with multiple leading experts inside and outside the field as they dialogue together through the complexities of advanced leadership.

The Signature Leadership Development Experience
YMCA of The Rockies, Estes Park, CO
Mastermind begins at 4:00 pm on Day 1 and ends at 11:30 am on Day 3. It takes 1 hour 45 min to get to Estes Park from DEN airport in a rental car. It is one of the most beautiful drives in the USA.

We recommend renting a car and carpooling with colleagues.

Round Trip Shuttle from DIA to Estes Park (Plan ahead, book ahead). If arriving to DIA after 10:00am on Day 1, then you should carpool with colleagues or rent a car.

Can I get to Estes the night prior or stay an extra night? Yes! The cost is on you, but you can extend your stay. Ask about current lodging and meal rates and book directly with the YMCA Estes Park by calling 888-613-9622. General lodging information can be found at https://ymcarockies.org/Lodging. Important information about staying in the same room throughout your stay is shared in the confirmation email.

Can I bring a partner or kids to stay with me? Yes! The YMCA of the Rockies was recently named the #1 Family Resort in the Country by USA Today. There are many things for partners and kids to do onsite and in the area. While they won't see you much during Mastermind and are responsible for purchasing their own meals, they are welcome to come. Additional information about bringing guests is shared in the confirmation email.
