Who should attend?
Kickstart is for new career services professionals who have been in their role for 0-2 years. The curriculum has been developed with a diverse audience in mind, both from education, background, and years of experience. Kickstart is for professionals new to career services who may or may not have previous experience in higher education or at other offices on campus. They might be recent masters or Phd graduates or recent hires from industry. The program has also been thoughtfully designed to cater toward career professionals with various career services roles such as career education, employer relations, internships and experiential learning, or marketing/data/operations. We hope you will join the Kickstart community.

We recommend flying/driving in that morning, but make sure you are not late for our 3:00pm start time!
Indianapolis International Airport is your destination.
Rental Car. Drive time from the airport to the training site is 60-70 minutes.
Shuttle service with multiple daily departures
LODGING ON YOUR OWN
There will be many hotel options nearby. It is up to you to find a great place that fits your budget.
Shuttle service drops off at four hotels, including the on-campus Biddle Hotel at The Indiana Memorial Union. This hotel is within a 10 minute walk of the training location.
Are seats limited? Yes, registration is first come, first served.
Can I save a spot for a future new hire whose name I don't know yet? Yes, you have this option at registration.
Can I send a Grad Student that works in our office? Yes, but we only recommend the investment if you are likely to hire them full-time.
